Our global population is 8.2 million. As those numbers increase, many environmental changes are occurring in parallel. Experts such as primatologist Jane Goodall, naturalist presenter Chris Packham, and Sir David Attenborough have expressed concerns. Although our environmental problems will become easier to solve with fewer people, population engineering remains a deeply divisive topic.

This piece highlights this critical dilemma while also conveying a positive message of how we remain supported by the positive energy of our sun (reds and yellows). It demonstrates our love and respect for humanity, and a confidence in doing the right thing when that time comes.

This piece is a truly stunning abstract painting produced using an acrylic paint pouring technique. Acrylic paint is combined with a pouring medium, silicone and water. The different paint colours are then poured into each other and disseminated by tilting the painting surface. Once dried, three layers of gloss varnish spray are applied.

Although this method of painting is fairly technical and a little messy, the results speak for themselves! I only use the best of art materials such as This Little Piggy (TLP) pigments, and Pebeo and Arteza paints; Liquitex and Floetrol pouring mediums; and Liquitex and Pebeo silicone oil.
