This is a stunning example of abstract ceramics created with the application of one white undercoat followed by a variety of solid colour glazes, Midas Gold glitter glaze and two Mayco Crystal Gem glazes (Pink Pixie and Seawind). The Crystal Gem glazes contain pieces of glass frit which melt during the firing process and, as the crystals bloom, they produce the dramatic, colourful effect as seen.
