The printing company I work with use water based inks and are unable to achieve metallic colours. Therefore, the areas that are gold leaf on the original painting actually print out into a non-metallic, soft, yellow tone.

As with all tea towels, they are less absorbent when new. Therefore, I recommend that you wash your lovely new tea towel with warm water before you first use it. Please follow the machine wash and dry care label instructions, or hand wash and air dry.
