Our current global population is 8.2 million. As those numbers increase, many environmental changes are occurring in parallel. Experts such as primatologist Jane Goodall, naturalist presenter Chris Packham, and Sir David Attenborough have expressed concerns. Although our environmental problems will become easier to solve with fewer people, population engineering remains a deeply divisive topic.
